What are your hours of operation?
Photographers and their clients are welcome from sunrise to sunset. Occasionally, the properties will be closed to host events.
Can I tour the properties before purchasing a permit?
We would love to show you around! Tours are available at no cost to photographers and take about 30 minutes. Please text 405.877.2276 to schedule a time.
How do I access the property?
A gate code will be emailed to you one day before your session.
Please remember to lock both the gate when leaving. Locking up the property checks you out and completes the session. Failure to lock up the property could result in overage fees.
How many photographers are allowed on site at one time?
In most cases one (1) photographer will be allowed per hour. Occasionally, we may choose to make allowances or adjustments due to inclement weather.
What if my session runs long?
Due to limited parking, it is important that your session runs on time. Sessions going more than 5 minutes over their allotted time will be billed an overage fee which is due before the beginning of any additional sessions.
What happens if I need to cancel my session?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate refunds for photography permits. However, if you need to reschedule, we’ll be more than happy to find an alternative date based on space available. Please text 405.877.2276 to re-schedule your session. Terms and conditions apply.
We are unable to reschedule permits that are a no-show. In these cases, a new permit will need to be purchased.
Is there parking available?
For the safety of guests and respect of our neighbors guest must park within the “Photography at Whitewood Farm” parking area. For group sessions that require more than four vehicles, please carpool.
Parking on the field and on the street is prohibited.
Are restrooms available on site?
Restrooms are not available.
Are changing rooms available on site?
Changing rooms are not available. Clients will often change in their car when the photographer does not supply a pop up changing area.
Are animals allowed on site?
We absolutely love it when fur-friends are part of photo sessions! Please exercise caution when bringing animals on to either property.
For the safety of all visitors and the animals themselves, we ask that animals be leashed or crated when they are not actively being photographed.
Clients are kindly asked to take responsibility for cleaning up any waste created by their pets during the photo session.
Are any items prohibited during photography sessions?
Yes. To ensure a respectful and family-friendly environment nudity and open containers of alcohol are both prohibited.
Glitter, non-biodegradable confetti, and ballon releases are also prohibited outside. Glitter and all confetti is prohibited inside the Farm House.
How do “mini sessions” work?
To alleviate congestion in the photography parking area, please ask your clients to arrive no more than a few minutes before their scheduled session time. Additionally, after their session, please ask clients to depart from the property to make room for the next clients. This ensures a smooth experience for everyone involved.
If you’ll be using props for your mini session please discuss how these props will be delivered prior to scheduling their drop off.
Are photo sessions possible inside the Conex (shipping container)?
Photo sessions are not possible inside the Conex.
Are photo sessions possible inside the private area?
Photo sessions are not possible inside the private area. Photographers and their clients are not allowed to enter this area.
Is the property accessibility friendly?
Overall, the farm is a relatively flat property and most of the area can be reached easily by walking. However, being a rural property, it is not wheelchair accessible.
